Wollongong Daily News is an independent newspaper based on Burelli Street, reporting on the people, the government, the businesses and the teams of the Illawarra and the South Coast of New South Wales.

Our newsroom covers Wollongong City Council and the councils of Shellharbour and Kiama, the District Court and the Local Court, the Port of Port Kembla, the University of Wollongong, the St George Illawarra Dragons and the Illawarra Hawks, as well as the arts, festivals and the everyday life of the escarpment and the coast.

We draw on the work of our own reporters and on publicly available reporting from the Illawarra Mercury, the ABC, the City of Wollongong, the NSW Government and other reputable sources.
