Tennis centre, sold-out film festival headline Council's quarterly review
Wollongong City Council has tabled its quarterly review statement, pointing to the opening of the Regional Tennis Centre and a string of CBD events as highlights of the past three months.

Councillors received the latest Quarterly Review Statement at Monday night's meeting, with Lord Mayor Tania Brown describing the period as 'one of the busiest in recent memory' for delivery.
The grand opening of the Wollongong Regional Tennis Centre, a sold-out short film festival and a program of activations along Crown and Keira streets were singled out in the report.
The review also confirmed that capital works are tracking to budget, with $148 million spent year-to-date on road, drainage and community facility projects across the LGA.
Council staff said work on the City Centre revitalisation, contributions plan and Delivery Program 2025-2029 would dominate the next quarter.
